Harvest & Refinement, The Art of Late Summer

There’s a wildness to August that feels both expansive and precise. This is the season of the first harvest, where we begin to take stock of all that has grown this season. What fruit is ripe? What ideas, connections, or patterns are ready to be gathered and what must be left on the vine?
As we move from the sovereign heat of Leo into the sacred discernment of Virgo, refinement becomes a devotional act.
The elixir of this season is in noticing, not just what is abundant, but what’s essential. It’s a time to support the body in its own refining: bitters for digestion, burdock for clarity, cooling herbs to bring sweetness into balance.
Here, the body becomes a hearth, preparing for the inward turn ahead. And in that preparation, a quiet grace emerges. One of readiness, and one of reverence.
With love & light,
Ambrosia
